Christmas was wonderful this year, and it was Braelyn's very first one! On Christmas Eve, we celebrated by going to church with my family. Braelyn did a great job, and even enjoyed singing the Christmas songs. On Christmas morning, Brad and I decided we would begin with just our family of three, then head over to my parent's house. Here are some pictures of Braelyn opening her presents at our house.

Braelyn got her reading chair, several books, some balls, socks and a new sea creatures toy. She also got a new lamb that says the "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" prayer from her Big Memaw and Big Boompa. |

| Braelyn might not have loved Christmas breakfast QUITE as much as me... |
| After having our own family Christmas, we went over to my parent's house. It was great because it was Kim and Brett's "year" to be at our parent's too for Christmas. Since it is their first year married, I'm assuming they will switch off holidays as we do. But it is nice for us to be on the same schedule. We had our traditional YUMMY Christmas breakfast that my parents work hard together to make. It is my favorite part of the whole day! We also opened presents and played some old school Nintendo 64 Mario Cart. So much fun! The most fun we had was listening to the talking Elmo- the gift Braelyn got from my parents. |

| The day after Christmas, we went to Orange to visit and celebrate Christmas with the Baldree side. It was very nice, and I really think Braelyn did very well. She really appreciated her Uncle Jordan letting her sleep in his room. GranB and GranBoo got Brae the coolest gift-a tricycle! I will post pictures later, but long story short, Ranger can now be a sled dog and pull his Brae around the neighborhood. She also got her very first baby doll, which she loves to kiss. We had more yummy food at the Baldree's, and Belinda even made some yummy treats that fit into Brad's diet so he could enjoy some sweets too! Well, I still have a week off, and am loving that Brad is taking time off for the holidays too. It is so nice to be able to spend time together as a family! I can't believe this year is almost over, and Brae is going to be one year old in a month! Wow how time flies! |
